COMPLETE RENOVATION OF THE FACADE OF A TRIPLEX

This project consists of the complete renovation of a former triplex's facade, with architectural features marked by the history of the district. We chose to use western red cedar wood for its high strength and colour which matches perfectly with the colour of the brick.

 

Stairs and flashings are galvanized and protected by a baked paint, which guarantee a lifetime resistance. Only the windows have a more contemporary style but certify perfect insulation: they are made of aluminium and argon gas windows with triple glazing and high energy performance.

 

To sum up, we wanted to use noble materials and rework certain rooms such as the cornice to preserve the authentic look of the house. We notice an important work of wood detailing and custom finishes, all certified by the architects of Montreal.
