Indigo Construction is a general contractor in high-end renovation and construction. Its goal is to offer quality construction to its clients. Awarded several times and published in trade magazines, the company is in full expansion. Therefore, we are currently looking for an estimator.

Assignments

​

• Bidding on public works projects via the SEAO site (Electronic Tendering System of the Government of Quebec)  

• Residential Project Submissions  

• Assessing material and labour requirements  

• Prepares estimates of potential costs of materials, labour and equipment required to complete construction projects, based on bids, price estimates, plans, specifications and schedules  

• Advising on bid procedures, reviewing and analyzing bids received, recommending acceptance and negotiating contracts; 

• Establishing and maintaining bidding, monitoring and reporting systems and procedures

• Communicate, liaise and consult with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors and prepare economic feasibility studies on changes and adjustments to cost estimates

 

Working conditions

 

The Estimator works mainly in the offices of Indigo Construction. However, he or she sometimes goes to the construction sites to analyse them.
