Journeyman / woman carpenter

Indigo Construction is a general contractor in high-end renovation and construction. Its goal is to offer quality construction to its clients. Awarded several times and published in trade magazines, the company is in full expansion. Therefore, we are currently looking for a Carpenter Apprentice 1,2 or 3.

The Carpenter who performs various tasks related to the construction or repair of houses or buildings. He/she participates in the assembly of the frames, the realization of the structures of the buildings as well as the finishing work.  

 

Assignments

 

• Prepare plots, using measuring tools, in accordance with building code requirements.  

• Measuring, cutting, shaping and assembling elements made of wood, chipboard, light steel or other materials  

• Erecting foundations, installing floor beams, installing floor covering support, erecting pre-assembled framing and roofing elements  

• Adjusting and installing millwork such as doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware  

• Maintain, repair and renovate homes and wooden structures in factories, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments  

 

Work conditions

The Carpenter works mainly outdoors on Indigo construction sites with a team.
