PLATEAU DUPLEX CONVERTED INTO TOWN HOUSE

Ergonomic and contemporary, the conversion of this duplex into a bright single-family house has seduced its owners. The space has been designed to accommodate a large family in a friendly 2340 square feet space.

The major challenge of this project was to preserve the historical character of the Plateau by integrating a contemporary and luminous design. The open kitchen is located on the first floor, guaranteeing optimal sunshine and extends to a suspended balcony that gives access to a wooded backyard, out of sight. Its simple and refined features do not alter its uniqueness.

The construction of a light shaft in the basement ceiling was particularly technical to make it perfectly waterproof and aesthetic.  Finally, we installed a glass railing with no upright or integrated fixing in the floor, which required meticulous and professional attention.
